26 Egyptian Companies and Startups at Gitex 2017
For the 12th consecutive year, Egypt is participating in the Gitex Technology Week Exhibition in Dubai. The IT executive arm of the Ministry of Communications and IT, ITIDA, has promoted the participation of 20 local ICT companies as well as 6 startups offering a range of services and solutions in the areas of contact centers, software development, ERP, CRM, cloud computing, systems integration, RFID solutions, smart tourism solutions, POS software, among others. The companies and startups will be presenting their demos and showcasing their up-to-the-minute services under the newly branded Egyptian pavilion ‘Time for Egypt’.

Fifth Dimension – 5D is a full service digital marketing agency based in Cairo with an expertise in emerging technologies such as virtual reality, motion detection solutions, and interactive experiences. Open Minds is an engineering, consulting, and professional service provider in Egypt that offers design services from concept to detailed design as well as implementation support especially in Intelligent Transportation systems and smart city infrastructure.
Webville is specialized in content discovery solutions. Their Social Rating Engine helps users discover quality content, and Webville’s engine measures the quality of online content by analyzing content ratings from all across the web. The results are then ranked by quality and published on Webville’s website. Webville also provides users with a browser plugin allowing them to preview the quality of any link at a glance and letting them rate the content they consume on the go.
