Fintech Abu Dhabi to take place in October

Taking place on October 22nd and 23rd, Fintech Abu Dhabi is bringing together global and local financial institutions, fintech startups, investors, regulatory agencies and the business community to network, collaborate, and exchange expertise and knowledge in fintech developments in Abu Dhabi, the wider MENA region and internationally.

Designed and organized by the financial institution ADGM (Abu Dhabi Global Market), Fintech Abu Dhabi will include an Innovation Challenge, Demo Day, fintech awards presentation, regulatory roundtable, workshops, and a summit featuring regional and international fintech leaders.

The leaders, which include the likes of Fadi Ghandour, Executive Chairman of Wamda Capital; Elizabeth Lumley, global fintech commentator; Ambareen Musa, Founder of Souqalmal.com; Clive Cooke, Managing Director of R3; and Matteo Rizzi, fintech investor, will be giving keynote speeches, fireside chats, and taking part in panels such as  ‘Transforming the MENA region into an International Innovation Hub’, ‘Innovation for the Un(der)banked’ and ‘Investing in Innovation: The Next Frontier of Fintech.’  

The Innovation Challenge, a 5-week program currently underway for mature in the financial industry, will also be culminating in a Demo Day on the 22nd of October, where the finalists will showcase their innovative solutions and compete for a chance to demo at the Singapore Fintech Festival in November.
