Meet the Winners from Startup Battle Casablanca

For the second year in a row, the Startup Battle took place yesterday in Casablanca at Technopark.

The winning startups are given the opportunity to travel to ArabNet’s Digital Summit in Dubai, and will participate in the ArabNet Startup Championship for a chance of receiving a prize of $20,000 cash, as well as a scholarship for acceleration in Silicon Valley.

Startup Battle Winners

10 entrepreneurs competed on stage at the Startup Battle in Casablanca, and presented their startups in front of a panel of high competence judges as well as an audience of investors, media, and entrepreneurs. Here are the winners:

1st Place Manageo
Entrepreneur –Lemrini Youssef, Country – Morocco

Manageo is an online software facilitating the global management of small and medium businesses, with simple dashboards, which allow a daily monitoring of the activity.

2nd Place Carmine
EntrepreneurMohammed Mrani Alaoui, Country – Morocco

Carmine is a subscription-based car-sharing service that gives to its members a convenient and immediate access to multiple cars around the city of Casablanca.

3rd Place Breakr
Entrepreneur – Safaa Norredine, Country – Morocco

Breakr is an innovative solution designed for big corporations to help them foster collaboration and enhance the well-being of employees at work. It is a user friendly mobile application that helps break the traditional networking process. It allows employees to connect to each other during different breaks by just swiping and chatting with others.
